Every Faurby yacht is a work of art … PDF Print E-mail
Excellent sailing properties, durability and a high-quality finish are the fundamental principles of our boat-building processes. That is why all our yachts are fitted with a through mast to ensure a solid fix on the keel. This, in turn, means that the sails can take in more wind, thus helping the boats to sail faster without excessive heeling. The rudders are equipped with roller bearings top and bottom, making them easy and comfortable to use.

We refuse to compromise on quality. That is why we also make solid laminboard teak decks. The individual mouldings are precision-cut and shaped to fit their specific positions in the deck, which increases both strength and durability. In addition, we thoroughly test all materials and machining processes ourselves. In fact, you could rightly say that we know every stave and moulding, and can vouch for their quality. Naturally, the solutions we choose are not the least expensive - but then again, a Faurby yacht is no ordinary boat.

The range covers the entire spectrum of 33, 36 and 42-footers. All models feature a lead keel, and the hulls are hand-built in a sandwich construction of fibreglass with balsa wood or divinyl cell foam as the sandwich material. All Faurby yachts are built with this same type of hull - which is strong, rigid and well insulated. The single run moulding process guarantees a uniform result without weak points, makes the boats reliable and seaworthy and imbues them with excellent sailing properties. Finally, the bottoms of all the boats receive a robust epoxy surface treatment to eliminate osmosis.
