Is it a Linssen 500 AC Variotop® or not? It's not a strange question when you see the new 450 AC Variotop® in the distance. The resemblance to our top model is striking, both on the outside and in the interior. The difference? 2.70 meters in total length and only 2 meters in body length. That's also the biggest difference compared with the 500.

Of course, there are differences between the new Linssen 450 AC Variotop® and the 500 AC Variotop®. But the DNA of both Grand Sturdy® models is identical. We very deliberately stayed very close to the 500 when we were behind the drawing board for the design of the 450. With a length of 13.75 metres and a width of 4.65 metres, the 450 is shorter and narrower. However, these are the perfect dimensions to apply our Variotop® concept to. This makes the 450 the smallest family member in our Variotop® series. And it will continue to be so in the future.

Stress-free from the north to the south of France
Many water sports enthusiasts and yacht owners have it high on their bucket list: sailing from the Netherlands to the Mediterranean. And rightly so. From north to south, certainly with a Linssen, is a fantastic experience through a beautiful system of canals and more than 225 locks. From the Maas to the Canal de l'Est (North Branch), Canal de l'Est (South Branch), Petite Saône, Saône and Rhône. Its ideal dimensions allow you to make this trip with the new 450 Variotop® comfortably and completely stress-free. That is the great advantage of a size smaller: your sailing area becomes even larger. With the 450 Variotop® it is sailing like a god in France. Pleasant and carefree.
