After an extensive selection procedure, Linssen Yachts has entered into a strategic partnership with Mercury Marine to use their diesel engines in yachts of 12.85 metres and larger. Yvonne Linssen: “We set extremely high requirements for the properties of the engines we use. That is why we also carried out a large number of tests. The Mercury engine came out best from these tests. Mercury’s MD2.0 diesel engine was particularly quiet, produced few vibrations and had a favourable fuel consumption.”
